A company in the banking and capital markets industry is hiring for a Credit Trader position. The firm operates a dynamic trading platform focused on delivering consistent client service and sustainable trading performance across market cycles. The Credit Trader plays a key role in supporting the trading desk’s revenue objectives through active credit trading and market-making activities. The position contributes to the firm’s broader goal of building stable, diversified trading income while maintaining strong risk governance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Making competitive and consistent markets to clients with a focus on generating sustainable trading revenue across various credit cycles.

• Managing order execution and trade flow in a disciplined, risk-controlled manner while upholding fiduciary responsibilities.

• Working closely with sales teams and Corporate Banking or Private Banking partners to deepen client engagement and generate additional business.

• Monitoring trading activities to ensure compliance with approved risk limits, internal guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Supporting ad-hoc initiatives and projects as assigned by the trading desk or management team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a quantitative discipline.

• At least five years of relevant experience within the banking industry, specifically in global markets trading with exposure to credit-related instruments.

• Strong knowledge of credit derivatives or structured products such as CLOs and ABS.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking headquarters counterparties.
