Job Title: Onsite Provisioning Engineer – Servers & Data Center

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Onsite Provisioning Engineer who can manage end-to-end server provisioning and data center (DC) build activities—from whitespace setup to final handover. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in DC infrastructure, structured cabling, and server deployments, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end data center build activities from whitespace to handover

• Perform server provisioning, including rack & stack, hardware installation, and OS deployment

• Manage structured cabling (copper and fiber), patching, and labeling as per standards

• Install and configure DC infrastructure components such as racks, PDUs, power strips, and ATS

• Support both high-level (network, connectivity) and low-level (physical installation, cabling)services

• Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders for smooth execution of DC projects

• Perform testing, validation, and documentation of all provisioning activities

• Troubleshoot issues related to servers, power, and connectivity onsite

• Ensure adherence to DC standards, safety, and compliance requirements

• Maintain accurate documentation for assets, layouts, and configurations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Electronics, or related field

• 3–6 years of experience in data center provisioning and server deployment

• Strong understanding of data center build lifecycle (whitespace to handover)

• Hands-on experience with structured cabling and DC infrastructure setup

• Knowledge of power systems (PDUs, power strips, ATS)

• Experience in server installation and provisioning (Linux/Windows basics preferred)

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, connectivity)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work onsite and manage physical deployment tasks
