UIUX designer for English speaker

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to drive the design of multiple rapidly growing products, including Kodamamo. You will craft intuitive interfaces for children, seniors, and global users, working closely with designers, developers, and executives.

You will share responsibilities with existing designers who have experience in graphics, UI/UX, and product management, enhancing overall design quality.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design:

• Design mobile app interfaces (iOS/Android) using Figma
• Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
• Build and maintain design systems and UI components

UX Research:

• Conduct interviews and usability tests with parents, children, school staff, and seniors
• Analyze app logs and customer service inquiries to identify and solve UX issues

Global Design:

• Design bilingual (Japanese/English) UI and consider multi-language support for Taiwan, Indonesia, etc.
• Collaborate with localization teams to optimize international UX

Must-have:

• 2+ years of UI/UX design experience for mobile apps or web services
• Practical experience using Figma for UI design and prototyping
• Experience in user research (interviews, usability testing, etc.)
• Business-level English communication skills
• Conversational Japanese JLPT N3-4 level

Preferred:

• Startup/venture experience in small teams
• Experience building design systems and component libraries
• Flutter app design experience
• Multi-language UI design experience (English, Chinese, Indonesian, etc.)
• Experience in child, education, senior, or healthcare product design
• Experience using analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.) for UX improvement
