Our Client is a leading manufacturer of precision‑engineered components, providing end‑to‑end solutions for global regions across Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Japan, and North America.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement contamination control strategies across precision metal processing operations to meet customer and industry cleanliness standards.

• Manage cleanroom operations, including environmental monitoring, classification compliance, gowning procedures, airflow/pressure controls, and periodic qualification activities.

• Establish contamination testing and monitoring programs, covering particulate, ionic, organic, chemical, and microbiological contaminants across production processes.

• Identify contamination sources from lubricants, coolants, chemicals, equipment, tooling, packaging, and operator handling—leading initiatives to eliminate or minimize risks.

• Lead root-cause investigations for contamination‑related defects using engineering tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC) and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve yield.

• Develop and enforce contamination‑related SOPs, including cleaning, degreasing, material handling, equipment maintenance, and surface treatment protocols.

• Collaborate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Engineering to optimize process flows, improve environmental controls, and ensure compliance with ISO/IEST cleanliness standards.

• Train and supervise cleanroom & contamination control personnel, ensuring high competency levels and consistent execution of contamination prevention practices.
   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related fields.

• Preferably with at least 8 years of experience in contamination control, cleanroom management, or chemical lab management, exposure to precision components manufacturing would be added advantage.

• Strong leadership and communication skills to lead contamination control & improvement programs as well as collaborating with relevant departments.
