AI Engineer

Our client is a well-funded venture backed by some of Japan’s most influential technology and industrial leaders. They are building a platform that connects the physical and digital worlds at a massive scale.

They are looking for someone who lives and breathes AI, stays up-to-date with the latest tech, and can think outside the box when project requirements are not so clear.

What You Will Do

• Identify Key Challenges:
  • Analyse technical issues across both internal operations and client environments, with a focus on industry-specific needs.
• Collaborate & Innovate:
  • Partner with AI specialists and cross-functional teams to design and develop solutions using AI, machine learning, and optimisation techniques.
• Promote AI Understanding:
  • Support the growth of AI knowledge and adoption across the organisation.
• Own the Full Lifecycle:
  • Contribute to every stage of AI solution development—from ideation through to deployment and improvement.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• Master’s in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a similar field
• At least 2 years of experience building Machine Learning/Computer Vision Models

Language Skills:

• English: Full professional proficiency
• Japanese: Not required, but good to have

Bonus:

• A background in AI consulting
• A PhD in machine learning, computer vision, or equivalent
