Job Overview

Our client is a global engineering company specializing in Water/ Wastewater Treatment solutions is currently looking for a Mechanical/ Piping Engineer.

Location: Ho Chi Minh

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain CAD catalogs, drawings, and design specifications to ensure consistency across projects

• Develop 3D piping models and detailed drawings for water and wastewater treatment plants

• Produce piping, pipe rack, tank, isometric, and layout drawings

• Utilize AutoCAD and 3D piping software (Plant 3D, E3D, PDMS) in a BIM 360/ ACC environment

• Support engineering data management using SQL Server

• Develop or apply Python/ VBA scripts to automate repetitive design tasks

• Collaborate with global engineering teams and support other assigned technical tasks

   

Job Requirements

• Fluent in English

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 

• Having minimum 2 years of experience in piping or mechanical design for: Water/ Wastewater Treatment Plants; Industrial or Plant Engineering projects.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and at least one 3D piping design software (Plant 3D, E3D, PDMS)

• Solid experience with piping layout, pipe rack, and isometric drawings

• Knowledge of catalog and specification management

• Familiarity with BIM tools; experience with Python, VBA, or SQL is an advantage
