PR/160360 | MES Engineer (Manufacturing)

To support its expanding digital manufacturing capabilities, the organization is seeking a MES Engineer to join its team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth factory operations, system optimization, and seamless data flow across critical production systems.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the MES system, including troubleshooting abnormalities, managing user access/permissions, and resolving system-related issues.

• Gather and analyze business requirements from various departments; map and optimize business processes; design feasible system solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance MES system functionality.

• Conduct functional testing, prepare user documentation, deliver user training, and collect/track system issues for continuous improvement.

• Design and develop statistical reports and dashboards based on user requirements to improve operational visibility and management efficiency.

• Ensure data integration, synchronization, and stability between MES and peripheral systems (e.g., WMS, ERP); monitor and handle interface data issues.

• Regularly summarize recurring issues, refine troubleshooting procedures, and build a structured knowledge base to share with plant personnel to enhance overall system operation and maintenance capabilities.
   

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, or other database technologies; proficient in SQL programming.

• Familiar with common IT project tools and methodologies.

• Experience with Siemens Opcenter MES is an added advantage.
