Our client is a Malaysia‑based technology arm of a well‑established Japanese company, supporting systems requested directly by Japan HQ and Japanese clients.

The team focuses on long‑term web applications and cloud‑based systems, offering a stable environment with structured requirements, clear timelines, and regional collaboration with Japan and Vietnam teams.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a PHP Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining web applications and cloud services.
Depending on project needs, you may be assigned to either internal systems for the group or client‑facing platforms. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy system ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement instead of short‑term project work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Requirement definition: Understands what the client providing as their products and liaise with client about the details and build the project base.  
• Receiving a feedback and apply adjustment.  
• Coding, interface testing, programing and testing.  
• Maintenance, response to the inquiry from clients, and analyze if there is any issue.  
• Liaise with respective branch (mainly Japan and Vietnam) and work together.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field 
• Possess more than 3-5 years of Web application development (B2B or B2C) with using PHP, Javascript, Tailwind CSS and HTML.
• Basic knowledge and understanding for cloud service development with AWS, Google Cloud or any. (Such as: ALB, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront & API service such as Lambda, DynamoDB).

ADDED ADVANTAGE: 

• Team lead, mentoring, or code review experience
• Experience with Laravel or similar frameworks
• Exposure to TypeScript, Python, or Go
• Prior experience working with regional or overseas teams
