PR/110188 | CAD Operator Civil (Industrial Project at Construction Site)

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering drafting and design, with a strong understanding of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and industry standards. The Civil Draftsman will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and other industrial and infrastructure projects

Job Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design:

   

  - Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.

   

  - Develop and review civil engineering plans, profiles, cross-sections, and detailed drawings for construction projects.

   

  - Ensure all drawings comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.

• Collaboration:

   

  - Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and other team members to develop and refine design concepts.

   

  - 

  Participate in project meetings to discuss design requirements, modifications, and progress.

   

  - Coordinate with construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

• Documentation:

   

  - 

  Maintain and organize project files, including all drawings, specifications, and revisions.

   

  - Prepare and update project documentation, such as bill of quantities (BOQ), material lists, and construction schedules.

• Site Visits:

   

  - Conduct site visits to gather data and measurements for project designs.

   

  - Inspect completed projects to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.

   

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering OR ITI Civil OR Diploma in Civil with 1 – 4 years of experience at construction site for industrial projects. 
• Relevant certifications in drafting or CAD software are a plus.
• Proven experience with CAD software and other drafting tools.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other relevant software.
• Excellent understanding of civil engineering principles and construction techniques.
• Should have knowledge of each work item.
• Able to make Detail Shop Drawing [ Related Civil Work / Finishing Work ]
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and plans.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Office environment with occasional site visits.
• Regular working hours with occasional extra time as project deadlines demand
