Job profile

A Japanese global freight forwarding company are looking for an Operations Specialist.

【Key Responsibilities】

• Shipment Coordination: Handle daily bookings and track import/export shipments across Sea, Air, and Road freight.

• Documentation: Prepare and verify essential shipping documents, including B/L, AWB, and commercial invoices.

• Liaison: Negotiate rates and schedules with transport providers while providing real-time status updates to clients.

【Requirements】

• Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Freight Forwarding operations.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.

• Languages: Fluency in Italian and English is essential. Japanese language skills are a strong plus.

【Employment Conditions】

• Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:30 (including 1-hour lunch break), Monday only 1 hour less, that is 08:30 – 16:30.

• Holidays:  

  In line with industry standards in Milan (the same as their employees at the Milan office).

• Work Arrangement: Full-time, On-site attendance required.
