A fast-growing multinational company in the Retail Fashion industry is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee their newly set up operations in Malaysia. 

Job Description

• Oversee overall corporate and store operations, including developing and managing budget plans with full P&L accountability.

• Streamline day‑to‑day store operations to improve efficiency, customer service quality, and product display standards.

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams by setting goals, providing direction, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and store concepts.

• Monitor KPIs and sales results, analyze sales/budget reports, manage cost and expense budgets, and report operational performance regularly to management.

• Develop and enforce operational procedures and policies while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Support new business and store openings, including preparing necessary equipment, operational requirements, and pre‑opening readiness.

• Plan and execute localized store operations by understanding the market environment, corporate culture, and the brand’s product identity and history.

• Communicate effectively with store teams to maintain high operational standards and ensure smooth store performance.

• Manage staff scheduling, conduct on‑the‑job and product training, and lead the store team to achieve sales targets.

• Maintain proper inventory levels and oversee stock replenishment.

• Plan and execute improvement initiatives aligned with corporate direction.

Job Requirements

• More than 5 years of managerial experience in the fashion-related industry.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate fairly and influence effectively.

• Experience in startup or new business setup is an added advantage.

• Extensive knowledge of retail malls and a strong network with landlords and developers.
