PR/160271 | Project Manager (M&E – Cleanroom / Semiconductor Projects)

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage project construction within the assigned professional scope, ensuring project progress, safety, and quality targets are achieved.

• Participate in design briefings and drawing reviews, and prepare technical briefing documents for project teams.

• Propose material requirements for the project and assist in preparing project cost plans and cost control measures.

• Coordinate and prepare construction planning, implement work schedules, and issue task instructions to relevant teams.

• Monitor and control the construction process, provide technical guidance to on-site operators, and maintain accurate construction logs.

• Assist in organizing and supporting equipment entry inspections, quality and safety checks, and project inspections and acceptance.

• Manage and organize technical documentation, ensuring proper filing and submission according to company requirements.

• Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil Engineering, Water Supply & Drainage, or related fields.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in design and construction within the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering industry.

• Familiar with industrial pipeline construction in cleanroom environments such as semiconductor, electronics (TFT), pharmaceutical, or food production facilities.

• Strong knowledge of system-related equipment with the ability to manage on-site construction, perform basic commissioning/testing, support equipment & material procurement, and provide technical guidance to subcontractors.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in data centre project delivery. (Management experience and data centre or medical device project background will be an added advantage.

• Willing to travel to project sites (Penang, Johor and Selangor) will be an added advantage.

• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and 中文 to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
