Company Overview
Our client a leading engineering company with a significant global presence. They specialize in a broad range of electrical, mechanical, and telecommunications engineering services for various sectors, including building, industrial, and infrastructure projects. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Electrical / Electrical Engineer, to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical works for projects within operational building environments, ensuring smooth execution.
- Review and meticulously analyse electrical drawings, technical submissions, method statements, and equipment specifications.
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and other trades (including MEP) to resolve technical changes and ensure seamless site execution.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical and ELV systems, including installation, comprehensive testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Singapore codes, safety regulations, and specific project requirements.
- Attend all necessary site meetings and inspections and provide robust support for project handover documentation.
- Monitor project progress, workmanship quality, and adherence to safety standards for all electrical works.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff as needed.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within commercial and industrial buildings.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's electrical standards, WSH requirements, and relevant local authority submission processes.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Familiarity with BMS integration and coordination with other M&E systems is highly advantageous.
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., LEW) will be a significant asset.
