Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Position Details

• Design and deploy different clusters with large numbers of nodes, considering running cost, redundancy, capacity, etc.

• Verify and introduce new solutions to improve functionality and performance.

• Standardize and automate service management.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain critical production environments.

• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.

• Experience in VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter Server).

• Experience in Nutanix environments (AHV, AOS).

• Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, Shell scripting.

• Experience in automation and configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).

• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting incidents.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience and working knowledge of IP networking systems and protocols.

• Web application development experience.

• Scrum Master or Project Manager experience.

• Experience in service operations with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Over 5 years of experience managing one of the following products: MySQL, Cassandra, Oracle, Couchbase, Hadoop, or Kafka.
