This role focuses on designing, developing, and operating core data pipelines that power item, order, and catalog data across major digital commerce services. You will drive system upgrades, new feature development, and end‑to‑end enhancements to data infrastructure.Client Details

- Own full‑stack development across the data pipeline ecosystem, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations
- Contribute to requirements definition and system architecture for new and existing data platforms
- Develop and maintain Java-based batch and streaming applications supporting catalog and order data
- Conduct detailed design work and produce documentation including technical specifications and operation manuals
- Ensure high code quality with performance, stability, and maintainability in mind
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable data services

スキル・資格
Must-have:
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering with strong data focus
- Strong proficiency in Java (1.8+) and Java-based batch application development
- Solid experience with unit testing (JUnit or similar)
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (HBase)
- Expertise in database schema design, SQL tuning, and performance evaluation
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (e.g., Dataflow, Cloud Run, Bigtable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and shell scripting
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Strong teamwork experience in design reviews, coding, and collaborative development
- Language: Conversational Japanese / Business English
Nice-to-have:
- Apache Beam (e.g., Dataflow)
- Large-scale data processing (e.g., Apache Spark)
- API development (RESTful)
- Front-end development (Vue.js, React)
- Python proficiency
