Your new company:
This company is a Japanese global player in the office furniture industry. They manufacture and sell office furniture. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur.

Your new role:

• You are responsible to review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements as well as assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies.

You will play an important role to:

• Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements.
• Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
• Advise managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Setting up structure of quantities take off & BoQ
  Check and review the accuracy of BoQ.
• Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Be familiar with construction ID fit out material and supplier is an advantage.
• Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Travel from the office to various sites as required.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Have retail and office interior Fit-out work experiences (min 3 years is preferred).
• Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar.
• Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.

• Basic Knowledge of AutoCAD
