PR/160149 | Project Manager (Data Centre / Industrial – MEP)

About the Role
We are supporting a reputable international construction group in the search for a senior‑level Project Manager to support a Data Centre project, with additional exposure to industrial / factory developments within the organisation’s project portfolio.

This is a project‑based role and is critical to ensuring strong delivery of MEP‑intensive construction works. The successful candidate will provide leadership across site operations and drive project execution from construction through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Data Centre construction projects, with strong emphasis on MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)
• Oversee MEP coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Manage overall site operations, planning, scheduling, and execution of works
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and MEP specialists
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and contractual compliance
• Ensure alignment between MEP works and the overall construction programme
• Provide regular progress updates and reporting to senior management

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years total working experience in industrial and data center projects
• Senior‑level Project Manager experience in Data Centre projects
• Strong background in MEP and project / site management
• Proven experience handling MEP‑intensive, technically complex projects
• Exposure to industrial / factory projects is an added advantage
• Strong leadership, coordination, and site execution capability
• Exposure to Japanese construction practices is not required
• Willingness to be deployed to project sites as required (deployment details to be confirmed)
