JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and scripts.

• Optimize existing PL/SQL code for performance and maintainability.

• Work closely with application developers, data engineers, and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical database solutions.

• Manage and maintain Oracle database structures including tables, views, indexes, and constraints.

• Conduct data analysis, data validation, and troubleshoot data inconsistencies.

• Assist with performance tuning, query optimization, and database debugging.

• Support data migration, ETL processes, and integration activities across systems.

• Ensure data security, quality, and compliance with company’s policies.

• Participate in code reviews and documentation of technical solutions.

• Provide production support for database-related issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• Atleast 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.

• Hands on experience in: 

  • PL/SQL programming (packages, procedures, functions)

  • SQL query writing and optimization

  • Database schema design and data modelling

  • Performance tuning using Oracle tools (Explain Plan, TKProf, etc.)

• Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c or higher.

• Strong SQL scripting skill in modifying complex queries and stored procedures.
