Summary of Position: 
The role is responsible to support in design and planning.  Provide assistance to the project team and consultants in the implementation, monitoring and control of progress of the project works, and to ensure works carried out according to all technical/safety requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Standard Specification:

• To provide design, support tendering, planning and supervise of the company`s mechanical works
• To coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications
• To manage or supervise specialists and sub-contractors working with the company`s mechanical system.  Provide assistance to branch level.
  Communicate directly with internal customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new equipment.
• Coordinate and solve issues with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of mechanical installation, design development and provide supervision
• Monitor all resources and ensure optimal utilization and achievement of all customer objectives and provide support to all equipment. Implement various plans deemed fit to ensure successful project completion.
• Sourcing for sub-contractors and suppliers and price negotiation with best interest of company and project success.
• Willingness to work overtime & travel outstation when required.
• Guide juniors and help in problem solving.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Academic: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent

Experience: 

• Similar working experience in a supervisory level, and above 5 years in the related field of work
• Participated in tender stage of drawing will be an advantage

Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Ms Project, Auto Cad
