A multinational medical devices company is looking for a Senior Demand Planning Manager. The selected candidate will lead a team of planners, drive demand planning KPIs, and lead SI&OP process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a 3-5-year roadmap for the Demand Planning Team
• Manage a team of over 10 members, including one team manager
• Foster a team culture that promotes motivation, inclusion, and collaboration
• Strengthen partnerships with stakeholders, including commercial teams
• Ensure compliance and represent the team in internal and external audits
• Drive cross-functional problem-solving by understanding end-to-end supply chain processes
• Own and improve demand planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, DIOH, EEO, and scrap cost
• Educate team members using a Demand Planning Skill Matrix
• Lead and design the SI&OP process in Japan, aligning demand plans with stakeholders
• Recruit and retain top-tier planning talent

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• More than 5 years of proven experience in demand planning and leadership roles
• Practical experience in other supply chain areas is ideal
• Experience in marketing, sales strategy, or FP&A is a plus
• Proficient in SI&OP processes and planning systems such as RapidResponse
• Deep knowledge of demand planning, forecasting models, and supply chain financial impact
• Strong stakeholder management and consensus-building skills
• Business level Japanese and English
