[About this Position]
As a Senior Engineering Manager you will lead engineering activities across Henkel Japan sites driving capital projects process improvements maintenance excellence and sustainability initiatives. You will act as the engineering authority for the country developing engineering solutions to reduce operational cost improve quality enhance process safety and support long term manufacturing competitiveness.
This role covers multiple sites in Japan （e.g. Osaka Hino Kakogawa Atsugi and Yokohama） and works closely with regional and APAC stakeholders to deliver high impact engineering projects and standards.

国内におけるエンジニアリングの責任者として、運用コスト削減、品質向上、プロセス安全性の強化、長期的な製造競争力の維持を支援するエンジニアリングソリューションを開発します。
国内複数拠点（例：大阪、日野、加古川、厚木、横浜）を管轄し、地域およびアジア太平洋地域の関係者と緊密に連携しながら、影響力の大きいエンジニアリングプロジェクトと基準の実現を推進します。

[What you´ll do]
・Develop and implement engineering solutions to reduce operational cost improve product quality and drive sustainability targets
・Assess manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement optimization and standardization
・Lead and support capital investment projects across manufacturing sites including new processes equipment installation and process modifications
・Manage annual project portfolio （ 5.0 M・ per year） including scope definition budgeting scheduling risk management and execution
・Select and manage engineering companies contractors and suppliers to ensure capability performance and compliance.
・Manage project teams and stakeholders across APAC with diverse nationalities and functions
・Lead process design for new industrial processes and for improvement of existing processes
・Collect and analyze process data calculate engineering factors and define technical requirements
・Oversee construction installation commissioning and start up activities to ensure safe and efficient operation
・Support sites in building and strengthening maintenance excellence practices including reliability preventive maintenance and asset management
・Collaborate with site teams to improve equipment performance uptime and lifecycle cost.
・Support Henkel sites in enhancing process safety engineering ensuring compliance with internal standards and local regulations
・Investigate troubleshooting process and plant issues including safety environmental and operational risks

・新プロセス導入、設備設置、プロセス変更を含む製造拠点横断的な設備投資プロジェクトの主導・支援
・年間プロジェクトポートフォリオ（年間500万ユーロ以上）の管理（範囲定義、予算策定、スケジュール管理、リスク管理、実行を含む）
・能力、実績、コンプライアンスを確保するため、エンジニアリング会社、請負業者、サプライヤーを選定・管理する
・多様な国籍・職能を持つAPAC地域のプロジェクトチームおよびステークホルダーを管理する
・新規産業プロセスおよび既存プロセス改善のためのプロセス設計を主導する
・プロセスデータを収集・分析し、エンジニアリング係数を算出、技術要件を定義する
・建設、据付、試運転、立ち上げ活動を監督し、安全かつ効率的な運転を確保する
・信頼性、予防保全、資産管理を含む、優れた保守実践の構築と強化において現場を支援する
・現場チームと連携し、設備の性能、稼働時間、ライフサイクルコストの改善を図る
・ヘンケル各拠点におけるプロセス安全工学の強化を支援し、社内基準および現地規制への準拠を確保する
・安全、環境、運用上のリスクを含むプロセスおよびプラントの問題のトラブルシューティングを調査する

・Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Electrical Chemical Engineering or related field
・10・20 years of experience in plant maintenance engineering or production in chemical or industrial manufacturing environment
・Strong experience in capital projects process design and equipment installation
・Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing problem solving （A3 Six Sigma） and continuous improvement
・Fluent in Japanese and business level proficiency in English are required.
