Job Description

• Develop dedicated embedded software to control multifunction printers and related optional devices.

• Conduct debugging and evaluation using actual hardware devices and software simulators.

• Coordinate closely with external business partners, acting as a bridge engineer between teams.

• Understand and clarify technical requirements through communication conducted in Japanese.

• Report development progress clearly and consistently to stakeholders.

• Explain specifications, design intent, and response plans to business partners to ensure product quality.

• Provide accurate translation and communication that respects local official languages and cultural practices.

Job Requirements

• Experience in software development using any programming language, or experience participating in projects as a bridge software engineer.

• Development experience in C or C++.

• Experience with embedded software development.

• Experience creating specifications or requirements documents in Japanese.

• Experience working in Windows and Linux development environments.

• Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or above, with strong speaking, listening, and writing skills.

• English language proficiency with the ability to speak, listen, and write effectively.

• Strong communication skills and a cooperative approach to working with colleagues and supervisors.

• Interest in long-term professional growth and commitment within the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science-related field or equivalent practical experience.

• Relevant technical certifications.
