We are looking for a Project Engineer / Project Manager to support and lead building automation projects, ensuring timely execution, quality delivery, and excellent customer satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist the Project Manager in managing projects efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and cost estimation.
• Monitor the full project lifecycle to ensure delivery meets time, cost, and quality requirements.
• Lead and manage the project team to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, government agencies, etc.).
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to the Project Manager.
• Provide periodic updates on work progress, including progress claims.
• Attend site meetings and support the resolution of engineering or project management issues.
• Provide daily updates to the team on tasks and progress.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely follow‑up on concerns.
• Manage customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to superiors when needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of customer information.
• Support the sales team in after‑sales service, consultancy, and client relationship strengthening.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration within and across departments.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in construction or engineering projects.
• Technical knowledge in Building Automation Systems (HVAC, mechanical systems, control systems) is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead site teams and coordinate with consultants and departments.
• Strong skills in planning, organisation, leadership, negotiation, problem‑solving, and communication.
• A proactive, responsible, positive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and work well under pressure.
• Willing to work primarily in Kuala Lumpur and Cyberjaya, with occasional travel to other project sites within Malaysia.
• Must possess own transport and a valid driving licence.
