Business System Analyst@ Global Issuance Company

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users and project teams to gather, analyze, and clarify requirements

• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional system designs

• Analyze existing systems and identify source data aligned with business needs

• Collaborate with application development teams to implement data strategies and data flows

• Guide system analysts, engineers, and developers on system capabilities, limitations, and performance requirements

• Analyze source databases and discover metadata, value patterns, keys, and dependencies

• Design logical and physical data models

• Create design documentation including FRD

• Prepare test cases, test data, and collect test evidence

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 6–10 years of experience in system development or Business/System Analyst roles

• Proven experience delivering successful system or data-related projects

• Strong leadership and project coordination skills

Technical Skills

• Strong system and data analysis skills (coding experience required)

• Solid knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB

• Experience with Linux environments and basic networking concepts

• Strong understanding of data structures and data management

• Exposure to modern data platforms and ecosystems (e.g. Hive, HBase, Spark, Zeppelin, Solr, Livy)

• Excellent problem-solving abilities
