The Diagnostics Mobility and Digital Solutions team at FUSO is responsible for delivering all customer service related vehicle diagnostics requirements. This includes ensuring the readiness of the DTD （Daimler Trucks Diagnostics） tool for new product launches series updates and field fix releases involving vehicle software updates. Our team plays a critical role in supporting serviceability and uptime by enabling accurate and timely diagnostics across the commercial vehicle portfolio.

[Organization]
This position is part of the Diagnostics Mobility Digital Solutions team at FUSO operating out of the FUSO Headquarters in Kawasaki. The team consists of seven members based in Kawasaki and three members located at the Kitsuregawa Proving Ground （KPG）. The role reports directly to the Head of Diagnostics Mobility Digital Solutions who is also stationed at Kawasaki. This structure fosters a collaborative cross location working environment enabling seamless coordination across development planning and execution activities.

【仕事内容／Job Description】
This role is part of the Diagnostics Mobility Digital Solutions team at FUSO focusing on the planning development and release of vehicle diagnostics systems for commercial vehicles. The engineer is responsible for managing diagnostics readiness using the DTD tool across new projects series changes and field fixes. Key responsibilities include authoring diagnostic programs in formats such as CXF and ODX coordinating with cross functional teams （Projects R D QM） and ensuring timely delivery aligned with vehicle availability and project timelines.

The role also involves tracking project schedules analyzing ECU change content and preparing specification sheets and procedure manuals. Additionally the engineer contributes to efficiency and cost excellence initiatives supports the development of new technologies and prepares monthly dashboards and MIS reports to support management visibility.

プロジェクトスケジュールの追跡、ECU変更内容の分析、仕様書や手順書のマニュアル作成も担当します。加えて、効率化・コスト最適化施策への貢献、新技術開発の支援、経営層の可視化を支援する月次ダッシュボード・MISレポートの作成も担当します。
本ポジションは、トラック・バスにおける現行技術と将来技術に触れながら、自動車診断システム・ソフトウェアシステムに関する強固な基盤を提供します。診断戦略、プロジェクトリーダーシップ、先進モビリティソリューション分野におけるキャリアアップの機会が得られる役割です。
