Company and Job Overview
Our client, a leading specialist in in‑mould decoration (IMD) and advanced plastic injection moulding technologies, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering team members, driving performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead all project engineering and project management activities, including project kick-offs and coordination with customers, internal teams, and suppliers
• Develop factory, machinery, and process layouts using 2D and 3D data, and design jigs and production processes for feasibility studies
• Oversee manufacturing operations, including production supervision, manpower planning, machine capacity optimization, quality control, and resource utilization
• Manage supplier negotiations on cost and lead time, and ensure projects meet schedule, quality, and regulatory/ISO requirements
• Prepare monthly reports, set KPIs, support budgeting and cost control, and drive continuous improvement to resolve recurring production issues

• Conduct performance appraisals, monitor attendance and overtime issues, and handle additional cross‑departmental or ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned                                                                                 

   

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or precision‑engineering environment
• Proven ability to manage engineering projects, including coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Strong competency in process layout creation, handling 2D and 3D data, and the ability to read, understand, and interpret technical and engineering drawings
• Hands-on experience in jig and fixture design, process design, and factory/process layout development, including conducting and preparing feasibility studies
• Proficient in engineering and modelling software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate proactively and clearly across departments, including with colleagues, managers, headquarters, suppliers, and customers
• Strong negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers and external vendors
