Japanese food company in UK is looking for the supply chain executive

TYPE: permanent, full-time

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm 

START: 2nd of March 2026

Hybrid working style:  Tuesday and Thursday at office, the other days work from home 

Supply Chain and Production Management Executive 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee end-to-end production operations to ensure smooth workflows, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards

• Plan, develop, and implement production schedules to meet manufacturing targets efficiently

• Conduct detailed demand forecasting and analysis to determine production volumes and material requirements

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with outsourced manufacturing partners

• Ensure effective control and optimization of raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory

• Continuously evaluate and improve production and supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency

• Build and promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture

• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on production performance, supply chain metrics, and demand forecasts

• Familiarity with Japanese culture is an added advantage.
