PR/159974 | M&E Engineer / Senior Engineer (Data Center)

Job Descriptions:

• To understand Project policy for safety, schedule, cost and quality and support Project Manager to achieve them on all site activities.

• To coordinate of the various trades in relation to the main Building works.

• To check for discrepancy between design and M&E construction.

• To ensure the constructions are as per approved design and use of materials and components.

• To liaise with M&E subcontractors/suppliers and customers.

• To check, supervise and report on the performance of the M&E subcontractors and suppliers.

• To jointly prepare with the specialist M&E subcontractors, the various work method statements and/or Safe Operating Procedures when required.

• To monitor and periodically report to the Project Manager the project’s progress status at the interval as directed by the Project Manager.

• To enhance safety awareness throughout construction period.

• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the company Total Management Systems.

• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering 
  Minimum 2 years of working experience in data center construction

• Experience as M&E Engineer in data center is a must 
  Carry out detailed design of all MEPF (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/Sanitary/Fire Protection/ELV) system from concept into a workable and maintainable data center that complies with client/consultant specification and requirements.

• Have experience in BIM/REVIT for MEPF and other related design software.

• Must be able to coordinate and aid the Construction and Commissioning Team (MEPF) on technical aspect on a timely basis during the project.

• Knowledgeable to comply with local code of practice, policies, standard, statutory regulation, and authority submissions.

• Able to coordinate space management and general arrangement of equipment.

• Able to carry out site surveys to recognize the needs and necessity to raise recommendations where necessary.

• Have the ability to self-manage, resolve complex problems, and provide innovative solutions into practice.

• Able to justify cost and other budgetary issues on selection of equipment and material.   

• Willing to work at Nilai (site)/ Seremban (site).
