■Position Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join IT Delivery team in Tokyo serving as critical link between the Japan business stakeholders and cross region IT teams.
The role focuses on requirements definition and delivery for ETRM and associated interfaces （e.g.
Market Data Risk Engine Accounting Nomination etc.） ensuring our platforms support Japanese power trading business.

■Key Role Responsibilities
・Drive the end to end analysis for the ETRM system and associated applications primarily focusing on Middle/Back Office functions （Finance Operations Risk） eliciting and documenting detailed business and functional requirements （user stories acceptance criteria） for system enhancements
・Solution Design Data Analysis: Perform hands on data analysis to support solution definition
and translate requirements into clear technical specifications and workable solutions in
collaboration with developers QA and architects
・Act as the critical communication bridge and primary facilitator between business and IT/Vendor
teams ensuring seamless mutual understanding and alignment on all project aspects
・Partner with business stakeholders to actively prioritize the backlog of system enhancements and communicate status risks and mitigation plans proactively
・Project Coordination Execution: Support and coordinate the planning execution and
monitoring of ETRM projects to ensure timely and successful delivery within agreed scope and
timelines
・Own and coordinate the entire User Acceptance Testing （UAT） cycle including test planning test case design execution oversight defect triage and final business sign off and support the release cycle through planning and post go live hypercare

■主な役割

・ソリューション設計とデータ分析
：ソリューション定義を支援するため、実践的なデータ分析を実施し、要件を明確な技術仕様と実用的なソリューションへ変換。開発者、QA、アーキテクトと連携
・ビジネス部門とIT/ベンダーチーム間の重要なコミュニケーションブリッジおよび主要ファシリテーターとして機能し、プロジェクト全側面における円滑な相互理解と調整を確保
・ビジネスステークホルダーと連携し、システム強化のバックログを積極的に優先順位付け。進捗状況、リスク、軽減策を主体的に伝達
・プロジェクト調整・実行：ETRMプロジェクトの計画、実行、監視を支援・調整し、合意された範囲とスケジュール内でのタイムリーかつ成功裏な納品を確保
・テスト計画、テストケース設計、実行監督、欠陥トリアージ、最終的なビジネス承認を含むユーザー受入テスト（UAT）サイクル全体を所有・調整し、リリースサイクルを計画および稼働後のハイパーケアを通じて支援

■Key Qualifications and Experience
・Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role specifically focusing on
trading systems and workflows within an energy/commodity trading house a financial institution
or through a specialized vendor/consultancy firm
・Essential domain mastery includes proven knowledge of core Operations Post Trade activities and Financial Control within the Middle/Back Office function in a trading environment （e.g.
Physical/Financial commodity trading or financial derivatives etc.）
・Advanced business level fluency in both Japanese （JLPT N1+ for non native speakers） and English is mandatory
・Proficiency in data related tools （e.g. Power BI） and/or programming/query languages （e.g.
Python SQL etc.）
・Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to quickly grasp new issues and efficiently identify viable solutions
・A bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology Data Science or a related field is
preferred

・強力な分析的思考力と問題解決能力を有し、新たな課題を迅速に把握し、実行可能な解決策を効率的に特定できること
・ビジネス、情報技術、データサイエンス、または関連分野の学士号を有することが望ましい
