Role: Electrical Estimator / Estimation Engineer

Overview
Our client is a well-established Electrical & M&E engineering contractor seeking an Electrical Estimator / Estimation Engineer to strengthen their tendering and pre-contract team. This role focuses on cost estimation, technical evaluation, and tender submissions for industrial and commercial projects.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Prepare accurate electrical and M&E cost estimates for tenders
• Quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Attend tender briefings and site visits
• Provide technical support to project and procurement teams
• Support cost monitoring during project execution

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Electrical or M&E estimation
• Strong exposure to 33kV / 11kV systems, ELV, cable sizing, and lighting design
• Familiar with Malaysian electrical codes and practices
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under tight deadlines
