[JLPT N2] Technical Product Manager (API Platform)

A Global IT Service firm is seeking a Technical Product Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Defining and communicating the product vision, mission, and strategy for API Platform and Open API program (including OpenAPI specifications)
- Writing clear, testable technical specifications covering API contracts and non-functional requirements (security, scalability, reliability, performance)
- Organizing existing tasks and defining future tasks
- Conducting competitor research
- Communicating with API Platform users (both external and internal) and driving service improvements based on their feedback
- Creating product roadmaps
- Managing product backlogs
- Overseeing operations and maintenance

Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home)

Required skills;
- 3+ years of experience in web service product management
- Strong understanding of API design principles, REST Standards and modern API best practices
- Ability to read and understand technical documents (API Spec, architecture diagrams, system integration flows).
- Proven ability to write clear, detailed technical requirements and PRDs for engineering teams.
- Experience in creating and prioritizing product backlogs
- Communication with engineers to realize the product backlog
- Discovery of issues in the service operation process and its improvement
