Our client is a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company in Penang. They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust cost control.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage month-end & year-end financial closing process. Prepare/review monthly trend reporting/ analysis, review of financial statements and report variances at Company & Group level.
• Prepare and update Group's accounting policies and ensure statutory reporting are in compliance with the applicable financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate and liaise with auditor, tax agent, bankers and other authorities
• Manage & calculate full sets of standard costing.
• Assist in the preparation of budgeting, forecasting & cash flow projections.
• Responsible for the EGIH consolidation and its monthly reporting
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes (i.e. financial reporting controls and procedures

Job Requirements

• Degree in accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years above working experience in manufacturing industries or any related filed.
• Familiar with accounting software and good computer knowledge and command of Microsoft Office applications.
