Responsibilities:

• Drive and oversee local financial management, including controlling, accounting, cash, and tax
• Animate group and local financial cycles for consolidation, forecasting, and tax planning
• Manage treasury operations, banking relationships, and audits
• Provide risk and opportunity analysis to optimise performance and ensure tax compliance
• Lead local implementation of corporate policies, guidelines, and internal control frameworks
• Ensure compliance with group standards and local regulations in accounting, tax, and payroll
• Monitor and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks
• Maintain and optimise ERP systems and corporate finance tools
• Oversee HR functions, including recruiting, payroll, benefits, and compliance with employment policies
• Manage administrative procedures, insurance, and company rules to streamline operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• 5-7 years of experience in financial management roles
• Prior leadership experience in a small or mid-sized company
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Experience with debt/equity financing and cash flow optimisation
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, KPIs, and performance metrics
• Knowledge of tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Possess a valid MBA or CPA qualification preferred
• Professional level Japanese and English
