【Information Security Officer】International Company/ Hybrid

Overview

Our client is looking for an Information Security Officer to strengthen its governance and cybersecurity framework.

This position plays a key role in ensuring the security of the Company’s information systems,

compliance with financial regulations, and the continuity of critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage information security governance, including physical access, logical access, and cybersecurity measures.
• Oversee BCP (Business Continuity Planning) and ensure readiness for incidents or disruptions.
• Assess, monitor, and report on security risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Develop and maintain security policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Lead or support security awareness and training across the organization.
• Coordinate with local authorities, auditors, and headquarters on security-related matters.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT governance, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of banking systems, financial regulations, and security practices.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Native or fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and Business level English,
• Proven ability in risk assessment, incident management, and project execution.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial institutions or other regulated industries.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are a plus.
