Deputy Manager – Process Engineering (Plant & Equipment)

【Key Responsibilities】
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and operation of mechanical equipment and plant facilities.
- Ensure that Japanese-language technical instructions are accurately understood and conveyed in English to local clients, with clear reasoning behind directives.
- Collaborate with installation contractors to validate correct installation and provide technical judgment—not just translation.
- Oversee routine maintenance, daily inspections, and general upkeep of mechanical systems.
- Liaise effectively with both installation contractors and the manufacturing team for smooth operations
- After installation completed, need monitoring thier operation and keep maintain the systme working properly with KAIZEN mind along with production manager.

【Equipment Scope】
Responsibilities will include handling and integrating the following machinery and systems:
- Patented expanded polymer production palnt, included autoclave and these accessories.
- High-pressure and pressure vessels, CO2 storage and compressor.
- Water treatment and drainage management systems (so called Effluent Treatment Plant)
- Utilities included, Boilers, Air compressor, water supply pumps and electricity supplying.
- Automated systems engaged by PLCs, which used automated valves and fans, aircylinders.

【Necessary Skill / Experience 】
・7–8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within a plant or manufacturing environment.
・Having electric background, preferably knowledge for PLC, automated equipment.
・JLPT Level N3 or higher – Proven ability to accurately understand Japanese technical instructions and translate them into clear, logical, and actionable English for effective implementation by the local team.
・Strong technical judgment—able to oversee technical setup and provide on-site assessment (beyond simple interpretation).
・Experience handling mechanical installation, maintenance, and operation of plant equipment.
・Excellent organizational and communication skills・

【Preferable Skill / Experience】
・JLPT Level N2or higher – Proven ability to accurately understand Japanese technical instructions and translate them into clear, logical, and actionable English for effective implementation by the local team.
・Exposure to automotive components or industrial plant systems.
・Ability to speak Hindi and/or Marathi is a strong advantage, enhancing communication with local teams.
・Experience with plant maintenance planning, equipment commissioning, or project leadership.
