Logistic Hub Operations Manager

Our client is a global technology and e-commerce company known for its vast online marketplace and highly efficient logistics and fulfillment operations.

The Transportation Planning team has been experiencing rapid year-over-year growth, supported by this high-quality logistics network. Looking ahead to industry changes and business expansion, the team is building new transportation networks and services that go beyond traditional models.

They are seeking a Manager to lead the launch and operational management of Logistics Hubs, which serve as key nodes in this network.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Logistics Hub Operations Management:

• Lead projects related to transportation network changes, new process implementation, and operational optimization
• Collaborate with 3PL vendors operating the Logistics Hubs to manage quality and service levels
• Drive initiatives that impact Logistics Hub operations, including network changes
• Set productivity targets and design/implement operational models
• Promote standardization and continuous process improvements

Logistics Hub Launch

• Drive the launch and relocation of Logistics Hubs in collaboration with the Business Planning team
• Manage cross-functional communication and project timelines to ensure successful execution

Mid- to Long-Term Strategy Planning

• Analyze long-term challenges and risks related to Logistics Hubs
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Optimize resource utilization across the Logistics Hub network

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Professional experience using Japanese (business-level documentation and meeting facilitation)
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Experience in at least one of the following:
  • Logistics project management
  • Production control in manufacturing or similar industries
  • Process improvement

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience managing teams of 6+ members (including attendance, evaluation, and development)
• Experience using English in a business environment
