In this role, you will collaborate with business partners and product teams to analyze the requirements necessary for upcoming technology solutions and work to realize them. Additionally, you will participate in test cycles to ensure that the developed solutions meet the initial requirements.

【Position Overview】
The Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) is responsible for developing and delivering frontend applications that are secure, reliable, scalable, and optimized.
This role collaborates with engineers, testers, architects, product managers, PMO, external vendors, and support teams to ensure program consistency and to drive the successful release of high-quality products.

【Responsibilities】
・Develop code to deliver project deliverables
・Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product teams, and Architecture teams to participate in the development and release management processes
・Work with the team to design, estimate, and develop project deliverables, including detailed technical designs and peer code reviews
・Create and execute short-term and long-term plans for managing and maintaining web technologies
・Triage issues identified in the software development and quality assurance cycles and support timely resolution
・Support release and change management processes to facilitate application integration and feature releases
・Comply with and promote the company's internal policies, procedures, training, and team efforts related to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
・Perform other duties as assigned

【Required】
・5+ years of equivalent experience in frontend or full-stack application development.
・Strong skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation.
・Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, and ES6+.
・Expertise in MV libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
・Deep understanding of end-to-end internet application architecture (e.g., browser concepts, HTTP, REST, security best practices).
・Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

■Hands-on experience in the following areas:
・Development and integration of large-scale enterprise systems.
・Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework.
・Accessibility and ADA compliance (e.g., WCAG AA, W3 standards).
・Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), version control using GIT, and NPM publishing technologies.
・Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java and .NET.
・Strong focus on quality engineering, with experience in functional and automated testing.
・Experience with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, linting, and code coverage tools.
・Understanding of object-oriented and procedural programming paradigms.

■Education:
・Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience in one of the following or a related field:
・Computer Information Technology
・Computer Programming and Analysis
・Industrial Technology
・Electronics Engineering Technology

■Language:
・Ability to conduct daily work in both Japanese and English.

【Preferred】
・Business Analysis: Proven track record of working directly with internal customers (product owners, etc.) to understand their needs and translate them into solutions.
・Ability to quickly learn and flexibly adapt to new technologies and tools.
・Ability to produce high quality technical documentation, customer relationship building skills, problem solving skills, and experience contributing to increased operational efficiency and productivity.
