Job Title: Senior Accountant (Team Lead)
Location: Singapore

The company fosters a collaborative and inclusive culture, empowering its people to lead, grow, and innovate. This role is part of their global finance team based in Singapore, supporting global operations through high-impact financial services in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Your New Role
Lead, train, and guide the STS/OTC team and AP/AR users across ANZ & Asia (or other regions as required), including Customer Service and Finance teams.
Oversee end-to-end process management, ensuring efficiency, timely reporting of KPIs, and continuous process improvement.
Manage relationships with service providers to ensure high-quality and timely service delivery.
Recommend and implement process and policy enhancements, leveraging technology for operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with service partnership agreements and consistently meet performance benchmarks.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls in line with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Drive scalability and efficiency within the team to support future growth.
Conduct performance management through regular coaching and one-on-one sessions.
Execute month-end close activities and ensure all deadlines are met.
Support the GL accounting team with statutory compliance tasks.
Key Qualifications for Success
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Financial Operations across ANZ & Asia markets; experience in financial shared services is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA preferred; Big 4 or similar practice background is a distinct advantage.
Proven experience in people management.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Experience working with external and internal auditors, with solid knowledge of SOX compliance.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
High levels of integrity, excellence, and a collaborative mindset.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight reporting deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in another language, both written and spoken, is a plus.
