An established interior design and architectural firm is now seeking for Senior Interior Designer. This role involves Lead the design process from concept to construction, technical documentation, and site coordination.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead space planning, concept development, and design presentations, producing high-quality visuals and client-facing materials.
- Act as the main design liaison, managing communications with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout all project phases.
- Translate concepts into detailed technical drawings, oversee tender and construction packages, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Support tendering and construction stages through site inspections, technical coordination, and collaboration with contractors and QS teams.
- Guide junior designers, manage material libraries, liaise with vendors, and assist the Design Manager with departmental goals and tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture with 6–8 years of experience in commercial and corporate interior projects.
- Proven ability to lead design concepts and manage full project lifecycles, supported by a strong portfolio of medium to large-scale works.
- Solid understanding of space planning, materials, lighting, and furniture, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Skilled in client presentations and coordination with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Familiar with local codes and submission processes, with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
