A multinational financial institution is searching for a Finance Manager. The selected applicant will perform financial control, regulatory reporting, and financial reporting in compliance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Japanese GAAP, including proper documentation standards for the head office
• Maintain general ledger control and oversight, including GL reconciliation and attestation process management
• Prepare legal entity/statutory reporting, including audited financial statements and regulatory reporting to FSA, JSDA, and FFAJ
• Monitor and manage regulatory capital, and represent the company to external industry and regulatory stakeholders
• Review P&L and decomposition for CM businesses in collaboration with COE and finance stakeholders
• Assist in preparing working papers for annual tax returns and external audits
• Develop and update the finance procedures manual, ensuring implementation in operations
• Deliver timely, accurate, and well-explained management information to support business decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in accounting is preferred
• Knowledge of the Bookkeeping 2nd level
• Prior management experience in a small team
• Knowledge of the Japanese GAAP
• Skilled in MS Office
• Knowledge of IFRS GAAP is preferred
• CA or CPA accounting qualification
• Proficient in Japanese; business level English
