Job Overview
The Senior Chemist / R&D Head will oversee laboratory operations, formulation development, and technical innovation to enhance product performance and ensure high-quality standards in rubber thread manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise latex and chemical quality control labs, ensuring accurate testing and compliance with ISO standards.
• Lead compounding and dispersion processes, optimizing formulations for tensile strength, modulus, and elongation.
• Drive R&D initiatives to develop new product grades and improve cost-efficiency through lab and pilot trials.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to viscosity, gelling time, and surface finish, recommending material improvements.
• Provide technical leadership, training, and documentation while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in latex compounding or rubber product development.
• Strong knowledge of analytical testing methods and lab instrumentation.
• Proven leadership in R&D and technical team management.
• Familiarity with REACH, Oeko-Tex, and ISO quality systems.
