Company and Job Overview

Our client is an investment firm focused on emerging growth companies in Asia Pacific, with a portfolio leaning toward technology, consumer, and business services. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Bookkeeping for management, advisory, and holding entities

• Apply financial regulations from the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to the Hong Kong entity

• Review and process various types of expenses (research, company, employee, fund)

• Participate in the payments process

• Support COO and Senior Accounting Analyst in responding to audit inquiries

• Test software to improve corporate processes

• Assist with corporate tax and legal structuring research

• Prepare and review investment product expense accruals and communicate with administrators

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent

• Having 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or audit, preferably in corporate services or financial services

• Having advanced English proficiency (IELTS 7.0/ TOEIC 945/ TOEFL 90 or equivalent)

• Having CPA or equivalent certification is a big plus

• Having background in a Big 4 Accounting firm is a big plus

• Familiar with U.S.GAAP or IFRS
