Product Application Manager - Die Casting

As the Product Application Manager for Die Casting applications, you will lead the interaction with key customers, translating their needs into innovative product solutions in coordination with the R&D, sales and marketing teams. You will cover mainly our customers in the Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo area supporting our ambitious growth plans for the Japanese market.

What will you do?

• Responsible in Japan for technical product application support to the frontline sales force in the Die Casting sector.
• Visiting frequently the customer production sites within Japan, you will able to identify and understand customer needs, translating the objective to the appropriate function in the company, such as R&D.
• Co-ordinate with other functions to determine and establish technical feasibility and product cost as input for the final offer.
• Hold presentations to customers on technical/product related subjects in co-operation with sales/key account manager.
• Propose product modifications in order to fulfill customer specific needs or requirements.
• Maintain highest EHS standards.

What do we look for?

• Education: Ideally an educational background in Engineering, Chemistry or any related subject.
• Experience: 5+ years experience as a senior engineer in the process, manufacturing or maintenance department within the die casting sector or a similar role in the industrial lubricants sector. Die Casting manufacturing technique knowledge is highly valued.
• Languages: Fluent English is a must. Japanese bilingüal is a must.
• Location: Remote role within Japan. Osaka, Nagoya or Tokyo area ideally.
