Company and Job Overview

This is a leading semiconductor test equipment multinational company. They are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support their Singapore site, with potential involvement in supporting other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales to identify and secure business opportunities by assessing customer needs and developing detailed product specifications for engineering probe systems and accessories. 

Provide technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations, support trade shows to showcase product capabilities, and build quick prototypes or demos based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility.

Offer software development and consulting support for product validation, ensuring that solutions meet specifications and assisting customers in final product approval.

Provide technical support to customers through solution delivery, including installation, application training, and product usage and maintenance. 

Assist with customer issue reporting and escalation, working with internal teams to resolve issues effectively. Collaborate across functions to develop and deliver suitable testing solutions that meet customer needs.

Monitor and report on customers' testing requirements, technical trends, and market developments. Provide support for international customer inquiries when needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of practical experience working with semiconductor wafer testing.

Handson experience with ATE will be a plus.
