【業務内容】
GKNドライブラインジャパンは自動車の駆動系部品の開発をおこなっていますが、当ポジションでは、ドライブシャフト及び等速ジョイント(CVJ)の製品設計段階から試作に至るまでの開発プロセスに関する業務を行います。　
今回の募集ポジション「アプリケーション エンジニア」は、アプリケーションエンジニアリングマネージャーのサポートと指導の下、割り当てられたプログラムについて顧客に実務レベルのエンジニアリングインターフェイスを提供し、製品ライフサイクル全体を通じて顧客の期待に沿ったプロジェクト実行を確実に行います。

1. 顧客に対する技術面での対応についての統括業務
　1) 顧客に対して、技術面でのあらゆる活動を統括する。
　2) アカウントチーム、及び、全社的な製品戦略をチーム内に展開する。
　3) アカウントチーム内のマーケティング活動を技術面からサポートする。
　4) 各プロジェクトに必要な開発や技術検討の工数見積もりを行い、サイト毎の予算の立案、執行に協力する。 
　5) 先行開発（Stage A・B）、量産プロジェクトの立ち上げや問題解決（Stage C・D）など、さまざまな開発ステージで、社内スペシャリストからの応援を得られるよう調整する。
　6) 顧客の先行開発チームと良好で有意義な関係を構築する。

2. 顧客とのアプリケーション・エンジニアリング業務
　1) 担当車両については、見積もり検討（pre-C0）から量産（Stege D)まで、ブランド名やモデル名に関わらず、一貫した製品のアプリケーション・エンジニアリング業務を遂行する。
　2) 要求仕様の明確化を執り行う。

3. 顧客への提出に必要な技術資料作成業務
　1) 機密情報に留意しながら技術情報の蓄積・管理を行う。
　2) 製品仕様を検討し提案する。また、海外を含む全てのプロジェクトで、顧客からの要求、及び、社内基準に対して、開発の各ステージで実機評価を実施し、結果を承認する。
　3) 製品の開発計画を立案し、また、開発終了、量産移行を承認する。

4. 海外プロジェクトに関する対顧客の技術面での窓口業務
　1) 対顧客への技術面でのフロントエンドとして、あらゆる技術的内容について、国内外の開発チームとの仲介を行う。
　2) 顧客文化を社内で展開し、浸透を図る。
　3) 顧客の要望をいち早く察知し、社内展開する。
　4) 顧客と国内外の開発チームとの間の文書、交信の支援(通訳)を行う。
　5) 特に重要な問題に関して、開発チームと協力して、アクション、回答の調整を行う。
　6) 顧客との技術面での議論や対応について、担当者間のレベル合わせを行う。

基本給：25.0万～35.0万（年収：300万円～420万円）（経験、能力に応じて決定）
賞与：基本給の4.0カ月分／年（2025実績）（支給月　7月・12月）
賞与込み想定年収：400万円～560万円（残業代は除く）

■在宅勤務
開発の都合上、現地現物主義で物を見ながらの会議等が多いため、基本常勤となります。（参考：当社の在宅勤務制度、諸事情で在宅勤務を行う場合は、基本10日/月まで）

本社栃木工場（社有車利用　頻度高）、自動車メーカー（年数回～月1回）、海外出張（まれにあり、年1回）

≪Job Description & Position Highlights≫

• Responsible for developing automotive drive components and customer support
• Collaborate with global teams to participate in all stages from early development to mass production
• Involvement in overseas business trips and global projects

【Job Responsibilities】
GKN Driveline Japan develops automotive powertrain components, and in this position you will be involved in the development process from product design to prototyping for Driveshafts and Constant Velocity Joints(CVJ).
 For Application Engineer position, providing the working-level engineering interface to he customer for assinged program(s), and ensuring project execution in alignment with customer expectations throughout the product life cycle, in support abd under the guidance of the Application Engineering Manager.

■Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Coordination with Customers
　1. Oversee all technical activities related to customer interactions.
　2. Communicate account team strategies and company-wide product strategies within the team.
　3. Provide technical support for marketing activities within the account team.
　4. Estimate the workload for development and technical evaluations required for each project, and assist in planning and executing budgets for each site.
　5. Coordinate internal specialists' support across various development stages, such as early　development (Stage A & B), mass production launch, and issue resolution (Stage C & D).
　6. Build and maintain constructive and meaningful relationships with the customer’s advanced development teams.

2. Application Engineering with Customers
　1. For assigned vehicles, carry out consistent application engineering tasks from estimation (pre-C0) to mass production (Stage D), regardless of brand or model.
　2. Clarify and define customer requirements and specifications.

3. Preparation of Technical Documents for Customer Submission
　1. Accumulate and manage technical information with attention to confidentiality.
　2. Propose product specifications. Conduct real-vehicle evaluations at each development stage in response to customer requirements and internal standards, including overseas projects, and approve the results.
　3. Plan product development schedules and approve the completion of development and transition to mass production.

4. Technical Liaison for Overseas Projects
　1. Act as the technical front-end for customers, mediating all technical matters between domestic and international development teams.
　2. Promote and embed customer culture within the company.
　3. Detect customer's needs early and communicate it internally.
　4. Support documentation and communication (including interpretation) between customers and domestic/international development teams.
　5. Collaborate with development teams to coordinate actions and responses for critical issues.
　6. Align technical discussions and responses with customers across all responsible personnel.

■Remote Work Policy:
Due to the nature of development work, which often requires on-site discussions and physical inspection of products, the position is primarily office-based.
(Reference: Our remote work policy allows up to 10 days/month for remote work under special circumstances.)

■Business Travel:
Frequent visits to the Tochigi Headquarters Plant (company vehicle provided).
Occasional visits to Japan OEM  (several times a year to once a month), Overseas business trips (approximately once a year).

Holidays: 5-day work, 2-day off on calendar
2-day off per week (Saturday and Sunday), work on weekdays and holidays, 9-10 days off for Golden Week, Summer holidays, and New Year's holidays

• 大卒、大学院卒、高専卒で、「機械工学専攻」の方、またそれ相当の方 
• 自動車業界での機械系製品の開発業務、3年以上の経験がある方
• ビジネスレベルの日本語（JLPT：N1-N2レベル）と英語のコミュニケーション能力がある、または顧客や海外チームと２言語（日本語・英語）での実務経験がある方（顧客やグローバルチームとの直接のコミュニケーションがあります）
• 自動車部品の製造に興味のある方、またはエンジン部品、トランスミッション部品、駆動系部品設計の経験のある方
• 普通自動車免許（車を運転できる方）

当ポジションでは直接の図面作成は行わず、設計CADチームへの依頼になります。

【Essential Qualifications & Experience】

• Educational Background; Technical college, Engineering Degree, Engineering Master　Major; Mechanical
• Over 3 years of experience in mechanical development within the automotive industry's Engineering 
• Communication skill of business level in Japanese（JLPT：N1-N2 level） and English (experience with global team and Japan OEMs)
• People who are interested in manufacturing automotive parts or have experience in designing engine parts, transmission parts, or drivetrain parts.
• Japanese driver license  
• Person who are motivated to pursue global careers, curious about international work, or willing to challenge themselves in a global environment.
