Responsibilities:

• Review financial statements and perform month-end reconciliations for fixed assets, inventory ageing, and bank statements
• Prepare and maintain cash flow reports, monthly management reports, and financial accounts
• Manage AP/AR functions, including third-party vendor payments, tax payments, and customer refunds
• Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities
• Support payroll processing, staff reimbursements, and administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or related fields
• More than 5 years of experience in accounting or financial roles
• Experience in retail, eCommerce, or B2C industries
• Solid understanding of local tax regulations and ability to provide tax compliance advice
• Possess a valid Certified Intermediate Accountant qualification or higher is a plus
• Professional level Japanese; fluent level written and verbal English
