PR/109705 | Deputy General Manager- Aluminium and Ferrous Machining

Roles and responsibilities: -

• Lead machining production for both Aluminum & Ferrous components used in 2-wheeler engines, transmission, and chassis.
• Ensure daily production targets with world-class quality, safety, and cost competitiveness.
• Drive automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 solutions across machining operations.
• Implement continuous improvement in cycle time, tooling cost, energy consumption, and material utilization.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, SCM, and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations and new model readiness.
• Strengthen process robustness and standardization to ensure zero-defect quality and customer satisfaction.
• Lead cost reduction, Kaizen, and TPM projects across AL & FE machining.
• Manage a large team, ensuring workforce skill enhancement, discipline, and motivation.
• Build supplier/vendor capability for tooling, fixtures, spares, and equipment.
• Present productivity, cost, and quality performance reports to senior management with improvement roadmaps.
