Roles and responsibilities: -

• Production Leadership: Oversee AL machining production operations for 2-wheeler engine and transmission components, driving daily production planning, monitoring, and target achievement with high quality and efficiency.

• Process Improvement: Implement machining process enhancements to reduce cycle time, tooling costs, and rejections, and lead automation, robotics, and digitalization projects to boost productivity.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, SCM, and Product Development teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to TPM, IATF, ISO, and Yamaha global standards, driving cost reduction and energy-saving projects across machining operations.

• Team Leadership: Lead a large workforce with a strong focus on skill development, safety, and discipline, and prepare and present MIS, productivity reports, and improvement roadmaps to senior management.

• Vendor Development: Develop vendor/partner capability for tooling, fixtures, and machine spares.
