PR/159571 | Production Manager (Technical) – Injection Moulding

Our client is a Japan based global manufacturer specialize in ceramic components, electronic parts. They are now seeking and experienced Production Manager (Technical) – Injection Moulding to lead the production operations, ensure optimal machine performance, quality yield and production efficiency while driving continuous improvement initiatives. 

Job Responsibilities: - 

• Oversee daily production activities for injection moulding and dry powder press lines to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

• Lead a team of technicians, supervisors, and production operators to ensure smooth operations and machine uptime.

• Manage machine setup, parameter optimization, and mould changeover for different product requirements.

• Troubleshoot production issues related to machine settings, moulding defects, and yield losses to minimize downtime.

• Implement process improvement projects to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO/TS16949, and quality management systems.

• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams for preventive maintenance and process enhancement.

• Analyze production data (OEE, scrap rates, downtime) and present reports to management.

• Train and develop production staff in technical skills and problem-solving techniques.

Job Requirements: - 

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 3-5 years in injection Moulding production with experience leadership 

• Hands-on experience in dry powder press or ceramic moulding is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of machine setting & mould adjustment techniques.

• Familiarity with production troubleshooting, yield improvement, and process optimization.
