Accountant

Scope and general purpose of the job:

• Own the preparation of financial & operating statements for the Group including its subsidiaries & divisions
• Provide timely and accurate financial information
• Assist the Group to meet its Japan statutory and legal financial requirements

Responsibilities:

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Control cash / credit management
• System master maintenance
• Support month end, year end reporting, tax filing
• Fixed assets register maintenance
• Ad-hoc general accounting duties

Key Relationships:

• Maintain effective working relationships with:
  • Senior Finance Personnel - Finance Controller, Senior accountant
  • Other Finance personnel including Financial Accountants, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable with China SSO
  • Functional operational managers

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• Associate's degree required 
• At least three years Accountant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Attention to details and accuracy
• TOEIC 700 is a plus
• Good proficiency in using PC based software packages, Excel, Google and familiar with Hyperion and ERP systems.
